User permissions required: ‘Datasets admin’
Just like with updating a dataset, you have two options to permanently delete a dataset:
1. Via the dataset card on the datasets page
- Navigate to the main datasets page (you can navigate here by clicking the UiPath Communications Mining logo at the top of your page)
- Click the trash icon in the corner of the individual dataset card
- Enter the name of the dataset in the bar that appears below the dataset’s details
- Click ‘Delete dataset’ to confirm
- Please Note: once a dataset is deleted, this action cannot be undone

2. Via the individual dataset settings page
- If you've clicked into an individual dataset, navigate to the 'settings' page via the top navigation bar. On the 'General' tab, there is a 'delete dataset' button at the bottom of the page.
- This will prompt you with the ‘Delete dataset’ modal
- Enter the full name of the dataset and click ‘Delete dataset’ to confirm
- Please Note: once a dataset is deleted, this action cannot be undone
