Amend a dataset's settings

User permissions required: ‘Datasets admin’


There are two ways to amend a dataset’s settings:


1. Via the dataset card on the datasets page


  • Navigate to the datasets page via the global action menu
  • Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner on the individual dataset card and then click ‘Update dataset’, this allows you to change the following:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Connected sources
    • Entities

2. Via the dataset settings page


  • Click the settings (cog) icon next to the dataset’s name on the navigation bar, which is at the top of all of the pages accessible via the left-hand dataset navigation bar
  • You will be taken to the dataset settings page, where you are able to update the following dataset elements:
    • Title
    • Description
    • Connected sources
    • Entities
  • You are also able to:
    • View statistics on the dataset, including:
      • Total number of verbatims
      • Number of reviewed verbatims
      • Proportion of reviewed verbatims
      • Timestamp of the oldest and most recent verbatims
    • Modify labels (scroll down from the view shown below to see your taxonomy)
      • See info
      • Rename
      • Merge
      • Delete
    • Delete the dataset
    • Download the dataset 
    • Add different cards (i.e. visuals) to your dashboard
